Join this amazing patient centered community-based healthcare organization looking to add an Internal Medicine Physician for Hospitalist services near the coastline of Connecticut!

The Hospitalist is a physician who specializes in the care of hospitalized patients. Hospitalists are responsible for the overall management of patients' care, including diagnosis, treatment, and discharge planning. They work closely with other members of the healthcare team, such as nurses, pharmacists, and social workers, to provide comprehensive care for their patients.

Responsibilities of the Hospitalist include:

  • Evaluating and managing the care of hospitalized patients
  • Developing and implementing treatment plans
  • Coordinating care with other members of the healthcare team
  • Discharging patients from the hospital
  • Providing education to patients and their families

Qualifications for the Hospitalist position include:

  • Medical degree from an accredited medical school
  • Completion of a residency in Internal Medicine or a related specialty
  • Board certification in Internal Medicine or a related specialty
  • Strong clinical skills and decision-making ability
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Location:
  • Nestled in Eastern Connecticut this city includes rural country areas, suburban neighborhoods, and historic districts. This area provides a low cost of living relative to large metropolitan areas and breathtaking coastline being within 80 miles from New York, NY, 40 miles from Hartford, CT and 20 minutes to the coast.
Facility: A non-profit hospital-owned multi-specialty group Academically affiliated
Opportunity: Large and established program is actively seeking Hospitalists
• Daytime hospitalist positions
• Physician will be part of rapid response and code team
• Excellent opportunity to work with House training staff and Residents for teaching purposes
• H1b cap exempt and willing to sponsor Green Card applications
