THIS POSITION IS PART TIME 12-6:30 OR 3-6:30 FROM MONDAY-FRIDAY during the school year and Full TIME in Summer.

We are looking for a dynamic part time after school counselor Monday- Friday to work with our school age students. Position will become full time beginning May 31st.

Job Responsibilities

• Assist in picking up children from local elementary schools
• Organize fun and engaging activities for school age children
• Observe each child to help them improve their social competencies and build self-esteem
• Encourage children to interact with each other and resolve occasional arguments
• Organize play time and snack hours and supervise children to ensure they are safe at all times
• Collaborate with other educators
• Maintain a clean and tidy classroom consistent with health and safety standards
• Move throughout different ages seamlessly
• Interact closely with children at their level

Qualifications

• CPR and First Aid Certification (Can be obtained upon hire)
• High School or equivalent (Required)
• The ability to lift at least 35lbs
