If so, we invite you to join our team at Wellspring Academy, an established preschool staple in the Denton community since 1962. We seek a highly motivated and qualified Toddler Lead Teacher to provide high-quality care and education to our young learners.
As a Preschool Teacher, you will play a critical role in shaping the lives of our students and preparing them for a lifetime of learning. You will work closely with other teachers and our curriculum coordinator to create a developmentally appropriate program promoting toddlers' physical, cognitive, social, and emotional growth.
Responsibilities:
-Plan and lead engaging and developmentally appropriate activities that promote physical, cognitive, social, and emotional growth in toddlers
-Provide a safe and nurturing environment that supports children's individual needs and interests
-Create and implement a comprehensive and cohesive curriculum that supports children's learning and development
-Evaluate children's progress and report to parents regularly
-Collaborate with other teachers to ensure continuity of care and a cohesive and comprehensive program
-Maintain a clean and tidy classroom consistent with health and safety standards
-Develop positive relationships with children and families and establish open communication and trust
-Continuously expand knowledge of best practices in early childhood education and implement them in the classroom
Qualifications:
-Ability to create and implement developmentally appropriate activities that promote physical, cognitive, social, and emotional growth
-Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and the ability to develop positive relationships with children and families
-Understanding of health and safety guidelines as they relate to young children
-Passion for teaching and providing high-quality care for children ages 0-11
