Summary:
Lead moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within technical domain environments. Contribute to large scale planning of strategies. Design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs associated with technology domain, including upgrades and deployments. Review moderately complex technical challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of technologies and procedures. Resolve moderately complex issues and lead a team to meet existing client needs or potential new clients needs while leveraging solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, or compliance requirements. Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid-level managers to resolve technical challenges and achieve goals. Lead projects and act as an escalation point, provide guidance and direction to less experienced staff.
Responsibilities:
- Provides the highest technical expertise for the planning, analysis, design, development, and implementation of large SQL databases.
- Handles complex and critical database development initiatives, involving multiple disciplines and business groups.
- Responsibilities include development, integration, and data modeling.
Qualifications:
- Experience designing, developing, and maintaining complex stored procedures, functions, and views using T-SQL
- Experience creating conceptual, logical, and physical database designs
- Experience designing, developing, and maintaining ETL processes using SSIS
- Extensive knowledge and experience with performance tuning on SQL queries
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Detail-oriented, with attention to quality
- Self-motivated and able to complete tasks with minimal supervision
- Experience as a senior developer on complex projects.
- Experience with SQL Server 2016 (or newer)
- Experience with SSIS 2016 (or newer)
- Experience working with large scale SQL implementations
- Experience with Kingsway (Preferred)
- Experience with Autosys and SQL Agent (preferred)
