About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Network Engineer who covers jobs responsible for direction and support for computer-based information and communication systems, including technical, programming and development, network communications, and systems analysis.
In this role, you will:
  • Troubleshoot and escalated complex network issues for Wells Fargo Bank
  • Participate in major incident management conference calls and associated bridge-lines
  • Work on tickets escalated from tier 2 support
  • Work on incidents in accordance with Integrated Operations Manage Incident Process Configuring of network devices
  • Work with advanced technology functions (priority support) / Cisco TAC
  • Work like a subject matter expert for the entire network infrastructure of the bank while supporting technologies like routing, switching, F5, firewalls and proxies.
  • Mentor and train tier 1 and tier 2
  • Open change controls and emergency break-fix change records
  • Engage Cisco (NOC and HTTS) Support
  • Work on Sniffer/ Infinistream capture
  • Troubleshoot issues related to firewalls, load balancers and proxy appliances
  • Work with vendors on complex vendor escalations and issues
Required Qualifications:
  • 4 years of Network Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
  • 4 years of Network Support experience in NOC Operations or similar environment
  • Understanding of routing & switching concepts (RIP / OSPF / BGP)
  • Ability to quickly analyze and troubleshoot data and voice network outages Resolve large admin/Enterprise issues
  • Extensive hands on experience in all Cisco routers, switches, wireless devices; Cisco, Checkpoint Firewalls, F5 Load Balancers, IP subnetting, Layer 2-4 stack understanding, VoIP, QoS, MPLS, SDWAN
  • Experience on Arista hardware is a plus
  • Excellent customer service skills and communication skills
  • Ansible knowledge is a plus
  • Mandatory - CCNA and (At least one CCNP Level Test Completed, CCNA Specialties, F5, MCSE)
