About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Lead Analytics Consultant for the Customer Remediation Center of Excellence (CR COE) group supporting Exploratory Analytics for the Shared Analytic Services Team. Learn more about the career areas and lines of business at wellsfargojobs.com.

The Shared Analytic Services team is critical to the CR COE Analytics organization. This team is fundamental to driving customer remediation plans built on standardized and repeatable solutions which improve remediation accuracy, efficiency, and speed.

In this role, you will:

  • Advise experienced leadership to develop or influence statistical modeling, analytical strategies, and advanced data visualization for complex business and technical needs
  • Lead the strategy and resolution of highly complex and unique challenges requiring analytical application of industry techniques, advance data from multiple sources, and mathematics behind data analysis across the enterprise, delivering solutions that are long-term, large-scale, and require vision, creativity, innovation, advanced analytical, and coordination of highly complex activities
  • Design and lead complex projects, analyses, and application of techniques across the enterprise
  • Provide vision, direction, and expertise to leadership on implementing innovative and significant business solutions that align to the enterprise
  • Engage with peers, managers risk, compliance, managers across the enterprise, and serve as an expert advisor to leadership team

Required Qualifications:

  • 7 years of Analytics and Reporting, Financial Modeling, Statistics, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience in Financial Services working with Consumer Lending or Non-Lending data, e.g. Auto Lending, Home Lending, Credit Card, Retail Banking, Merchant Services, Personal Lending, Deposits, Wealth & Investment Management
  • 3 years of SAS or SQL programming experience
  • 2 years of data management experience
  • 2 year of Teradata experience
  • Ability to form a story through data analysis
  • Ability to develop and integrate data driven analytical decision making
  • Ability to quickly learn business operations and processes
  • Knowledge and understanding of incorporating business requirements into coherent technical requirements
  • Have a strong attention to detail and be able to meet high quality standards consistently
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • A BS/BA degree or higher

  • Be willing to assist on high priority work outside of regular business hours or on weekends as needed
  • Have advanced problem solving and technical troubleshooting capabilities

Job Expectations:

  • Ability to travel up to 10% of the time, if needed
  • Ability to work additional hours as needed
  • The selected candidate must be located in one of the listed work locations and expected to work on site three days a week
  • Relocation assistance is not available for this position.
