About this roleWells Fargo is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join the Risk Asset Review application team responsible for application development using J2EE full stack.
In this role, you will:
* Lead moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within technical domain environments.
* Contribute to large scale planning of strategies.
* Design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs associated with technology domain, including upgrades and deployments.
* Review moderately complex technical challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of technologies and procedures.
* Resolve moderately complex issues and lead a team to meet existing client needs or potential new clients needs while leveraging solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, or compliance requirements.
* Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid-level managers to resolve technical challenges and achieve goals.
* Lead projects and act as an escalation point, provide guidance and direction to less experienced staff.
Required Qualifications:
* 5 years of Software Engineering experience
* 5 years of J2EE experience
* 4 years of experience working with Relationship Database Management Systems (RDBMS) such as SQL Server, Oracle or MySQL
* 2 years of JavaScript framework experience (YUI, Angular, Node)
* 2 years of experience with Agile in a development environment
* 2 years of experience developing and using RESTful Application Program Interface (API)
* 1 year of Maven experience, Gradle experience or combination of both
* 2 years of application production support experience
Desired Qualifications:
* An industry-standard technology certification
* Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
* Knowledge of Web applications experience
* Knowledge of MongoDB experience.
* Knowledge of Technical and business architecture experience
* Knowledge of CICD Pipeline experience
* Knowledge and understanding of technology object oriented: design patterns and their application
* Knowledge and understanding of application testing methodologies, tools, and execution
* Knowledge and understanding of database design, estimation, and implementation
