About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Control Management Specialist to join the Governance and Reporting Team. The Governance and Reporting Team is a high profile cross functional team, responsible for overseeing effective risk governance within Strategy Digital and Innovation (SDI), Technology and Global Treasury Management (GTM) by collaborating with teams across the different businesses to identify effective metrics, produce aggregated risk reporting for C-Suite, Board and regulatory governance routines as well as overseeing the execution of those governance routines to ensure compliance with Enterprise Risk Management requirements.
In this role, you will:
Drive effective governance (including escalation) across the organization in accordance with WF policies
Collaborate with risk owners to produce accurate monthly and quarterly reporting
Facilitate the collection, tracking, and organization of data to ensure accurate reporting
Facilitate the design and implementation of risk metrics
Maintain effective processes and controls to support monitoring and reporting routines
Document standard operating procedures and produce evidence to support effective control execution
Establish and maintain relationships with second and third lines of defense while supporting assessments
Required Qualifications:
4 years of Risk Management or Control Management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
Experience at a financial institution
BS or BA degree
Operational Risk Management experience, including understanding of governance and risk appetite
Demonstrated leadership skills and strategic ability to execute operational risk management programs
Ability to challenge metrics used in reporting with ability to improve report messaging.
Broad and significant knowledge of technology and the associated challenges, risks and required controls inherent in a complex federated environment
Demonstrated knowledge of Technology and Security risk framework
Track record of providing constructive challenge with appropriate escalation, root cause analysis and offering solution
Strong ability and experience working with and collaborating with leaders, stakeholders and team members at all levels and across functional lines
Exceptional presentation skills using PowerPoint
Pay Range
$84,000.00 - $179,200.00Benefits
