About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Securities Trading Analyst for support across its FX trading business (including but not limited to its Emerging Markets, G10 and Non-$ Rates Trading desks). Learn more about our career areas and lines of business at wellsfargojobs.com.

In this role, you will:

• Participate in Trader Daily activities and identify opportunities for researching and correcting trade issues within Wells Fargo Securities
• Review and maintain basic credit and prospectus files, manage phone traffic, complete trade tickets, update daily offering sheets, and exercise independent judgment to guide research and corrections
• Present recommendations for resolving customer requests and exercise independent judgment while developing expertise in the operations and trading function
• Collaborate and consult with peers, traders, and manager, including internal and external customers

Required Qualifications, US:

• 6 months of Securities Trading experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications:

• Proven self-starter with prior experience in financial markets. Additional experience/interest in FX Trading, rates trading, and emerging markets is also of importance
• Completion or planned completion of 4 year BA or BS degree
• Proficiency in Excel and other Microsoft Office products (Power Point, Word, Access)
• Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and through written communication
• Strong organizational skills, and multi task completion orientation
• Oriented toward a fast-paced deal driven environment
• A BS/BA degree or higher in business administration, economics, finance, or related field

Job Expectations:

• Up to 20% travel
• Registration for FINRA Series 7 must be completed within 90 days of hire date if it is not available for transfer upon hire. FINRA recognized equivalents will be accepted
• Registration for FINRA Series 63 must be completed within 90 days of hire date if it is not available for transfer upon hire. FINRA recognized equivalents will be accepted
• May be considered for a discretionary bonus, Restricted Share Rights or other long-term incentive awards
