Wells Fargo is Hiring a Residential Valuation Quality Assurance Reviewer Near Minneapolis, MN

About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Residential Lead Valuation Specialist within REVS (Real Estate Valuation Services) to complete post funding reviews of appraisals and evaluations as well as providing vision and expertise as to the long-term strategy of the Quality Assurance team. As an experienced Real Estate Appraiser, the candidate will be expected to be an expert at completing challenging valuation assignments of all types of residential properties at any transaction amount. This candidate is expected to meet monthly reporting targets as well as providing timely feedback as to valuation related concerns.
In this role, you will:
  • Assume responsibility for ongoing evaluations of new equipment and equipment under lease to ensure values are accurate and the portfolio is sound for Valuations
  • Lead less experienced staff
  • Research, evaluate and approve and recommend residuals and assist sales management in structuring transactions for markets, equipment and businesses
  • Assist in planning, forecasting, researching and collection of all off lease equipment
  • Resolve highly complex issues and lead team to meet project deliverables while leveraging solid understanding of the processes and risks involved
  • Collaborate and consult with individuals, colleagues and management to resolve problems and achieve objectives
  • Act as project leader or mentor for staff
Work locations: Charlotte, North Carolina; New York, New York; Minneapolis, Minnesota; West Des Moines, Iowa; San Antonio, Texas; Phoenix, Arizona
  • Open to other locations in the Wells Fargo footprint
Required Qualifications, US:
  • 5 years of Valuations, Lending, Underwriting experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
  • Expanded knowledge and understanding of the principles of real estate appraisal and real estate markets
  • Certified as a residential real estate appraiser, with the ability to research and analyze market data on a National level and provide meaningful conclusions with national appraisal review experience preferred
  • Excellent verbal, written (clear and concise), and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to develop partnerships and collaborate across functional areas
  • Excellent organization and analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to take initiative, meet deadlines and work independently with minimal supervision in a structured environment while dealing with multiple priorities
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook) skills.
  • Experience with Collateral Management System (CMS)
Job Expectations:
Ability to travel up to 10% of the time
Pay Range:
New York, New York
$48.46-$86.15 Hourly
