Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Software Engineer that has a keen mind and background in designing with security in mind.
You’ll be responsible for designing, developing, and testing custom software that integrates security, software development, and risk management systems in a Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipeline environment. Each day you’ll design and implement services that provide high performance and reliability in an enterprise large scale environment.
You’ll adhere to the software release process for custom-developed software, including source code management, change management, documentation, and end user notification. Additionally, you’ll ensure tools and documentation are maintained in accordance with enterprise policies and best practices. You’ll enjoy working with some of the best developers while collaborating with key technical experts and senior technology team members to resolve complex technical issues. As a lead, you’ll manage the process and mentor others along the way.
In this role, you will:
Lead complex technology initiatives including those that are companywide with broad impact
Act as a key participant in developing standards and companywide best practices for engineering complex and large scale technology solutions for technology engineering disciplines
Design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs
Review and analyze complex, large-scale technology solutions for tactical and strategic business objectives, enterprise technological environment, and technical challenges that require in-depth evaluation of multiple factors, including intangibles or unprecedented technical factors
Make decisions in developing standard and companywide best practices for engineering and technology solutions requiring understanding of industry best practices and new technologies, influencing and leading technology team to meet deliverables and drive new initiatives
Collaborate and consult with key technical experts, senior technology team, and external industry groups to resolve complex technical issues and achieve goals
Lead projects and serve as a peer mentor
Required Qualifications:
5 years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
5 years of C#/.NET software development experience in a large enterprise environment
5 years of experience with development tools including Visual Studio .NET, GitHub, and the Swagger UI framework
5 years of experience with .NET Core/ ASP.NET/ MVC/Web API/Entity Framework(ORM)
5 year of experience in creating web UI pages /front end development using cshtml, HTML5, CSS3, XHTML, jQuery and Angular JS
5 years of experience in Application security space, Cyber Security domain experience
3 years Cloud experience
3 years of using the Terraform (IaC) to configure, build and deploy
3 Experience with CI/CD technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins
5 years of SQL experience
5 years Agile development experience
5 years experience in building ,maintaining and testing Rest API's
5 years experience in Performance tuning of code and backend sql scripts
Solid understanding of Design Patterns and experience in architecting solutions
Experience developing thorough and effective unit, API, and regression tests
Experience developing high capacity, high reliability services
Experience using dependency management and build systems such as Maven, Gradle, and Artifactory
Desired Qualifications:
Experience with Blackduck, Checkmarx, Thread Fix , ServiceNow
T-SQL / MSSQL preferred
Experience in migrating on prem applications to public/private cloud
Experience in doing security reviews , follow security practices using Hashicorp vault
Additional cloud certifications such as Azure
Microsoft certified developers
