About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Product Manager - Client Directed Advisory Programs to join the Investment Solutions organization in Wealth and Investment Management. This role serves as the Lead Product Manager for client discretionary programs and are responsible for managing program risk, working with Financial Advisors (FAs) and risk and governance teams. The Lead Product Manager is a subject matter expert on Advisory Products from an operational, compliance and analytical point of view and can apply this knowledge to recommend changes or enhancements to products and processes
In this role, you will:
  • Lead complex initiatives including establishing and monitoring program guidelines for Client Directed advisory programs.
  • Review and analyze complex major product lines and services
  • Develop and monitor programs through rigorous data and statistical analysis to capture program metrics as well as competitive trend analysis.
  • Resolve escalated issues and serving as a subject matter expert on cross functional teams.
  • Oversee risk management to meet deliverables and drive new initiatives
  • Collaborate and consult with managers, stakeholders, financial advisors, project managers, and analytics team to resolve issues and achieve product goals
  • Lead projects, teams, or serve as a mentor to less experienced staff
Required Qualifications:
  • 5 years of Product Management, product development, strategic planning, process management, change delivery experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
  • US Only: Successfully completed FINRA Series 7 and 63 (or 66) exams to qualify for immediate registration (or FINRA recognized equivalents)
Desired Qualifications:
  • FINRA registration including Series 24 (or FINRA recognized equivalents)
  • Knowledge of discretionary or non-discretionary advisory product offerings
  • Experience working on large, highly impactful projects with multiple stakeholders
  • Strong analytical skills including analysis of financial metrics
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze large data sets
  • Intermediate MS Excel and database experience
  • Intermediate PowerPoint skills and experience presenting to senior leadership
  • Ability to successfully perform with minimal supervisory oversight
  • Experience delivering results in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment
  • Experience operating in a highly matrixed organization
  • Ability to work effectively, as well as independently, in a team environment
  • Highly refined and professional verbal and written communications
Job Expectations:
  • US only: Obtaining and/or maintaining appropriate FINRA license(s) is required for ongoing employment in this position. FINRA Series 24 examinations or equivalent must be completed in a 90-day time period, depending upon number of license(s) needed if not immediately available to transfer upon hire. FINRA recognized equivalents will be accepted. This will be communicated at time of offer acceptance. Compliance with state law registration and licensing requirements is mandatory. In addition to state registration and licensing requirements, specific product licenses or SAFE licensing may apply. Additional requirements include meeting enhanced financial fitness and criminal background standards. Wells Fargo will initiate the FINRA licensing review process at the time of offer acceptance. For specific FINRA qualification exams obtained after 9/30/2018, the Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) exam co-requisite is required.
