About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Lead Mid-Corporate Relationship Manager to join the Gaming Division as part of Region Commercial Banking Client Coverage team. The Senior Lead Mid-Corporate Relationship Manager is responsible for developing business and maintaining a portfolio of relationships with clients generating revenues exceeding $500MM annually. In this role, you will:
  • Lead and organize the team to actively provide financial advice on business strategy, bank and capital markets financing alternatives, and other ancillary financial solutions to differentiate and drive competitive advantage for Wells Fargo.
  • Engage with other key partner, product, and business line groups across the bank to drive optimal coverage outcomes and the delivery of Wells Fargo product expertise/solutions. Examples include partners and capabilities across Wells Fargo such as Independent Risk Management, Middle Market Investment Banking, Corporate & Investment Banking, Leveraged Finance, Capital Finance, Structured Products, and Specialized Industries.
  • Assist efforts in cultivating relationships and identifying new opportunities within the broader middle market banking client base to appropriately position Wells Fargo with future Mid Corporate clients and capital market product opportunities.
  • Maintain client relationship on business strategy and development of comprehensive financial solutions
  • Advise clients on business strategy and supporting capital structure alternatives
  • Identify and recommend opportunities for process improvement and risk control development
  • Attract and expand mid-corporate banking relationships in Commercial Banking
  • Lead team to achieve objectives
  • Make decisions and resolve issues to meet business objectives
  • Interpret policies, procedures, and compliance requirements
  • Lead the development and maintenance of a focused target market comprised of strategic relationships and actionable opportunities within the assigned Commercial Banking Division
  • Integrate with relationship management teams to deliver direct client interaction for the development and marketing of comprehensive financing solutions available across Wells Fargo's Commercial Banking and Wholesale Banking platform

Required Qualifications:
  • 7 years of Mid-Corporate Relationship Management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
  • Account relationship management experience within the Mid-Corporate or Large Corporate segments
  • Experience originating, structuring, and executing bank lending transactions, other credit related products, for critical or complex clients
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of various debt and equity capital markets
  • Knowledge and understanding of risk management and complex credit executions related to acquisition financing and bridge underwriting
  • Strong credit analysis and credit underwriting experience
  • Established network of COI in the Gaming segment
Job Expectations:
  • US only: Obtaining and/or maintaining appropriate Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) license(s) is required for ongoing employment in this position. FINRA Series 63 and 79 examinations, or equivalent must be completed within either a 90 or 180-day time period following commencement of employment, depending upon the number of license(s) needed if not immediately available to transfer upon hire. FINRA recognized equivalents will be accepted. This will be communicated at time of offer acceptance. Compliance with state law registration and licensing requirements is mandatory. In addition to state registration and licensing requirements, specific product licenses or SAFE licensing may apply. Additional requirements include meeting enhanced financial fitness and criminal background standards. Wells Fargo will initiate the FINRA licensing review process at the time of offer acceptance. For specific FINRA qualification exams obtained after 9/30/2018, the Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) exam co-requisite is required
Pay Range
$173,300.00 - $359,900.00
