About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Head of Policy and Procedures (Business Execution Director) supporting Financial Crimes and Regulatory Operations within the Chief Operating Office. For additional information on lines of business, refer to the external careers site at www.wellsfargojobs.com.

In this role, you will:

  • Collaborate and influence functional management to obtain resources, influence outcomes, address conflict, and ensure alignment with Wells Fargo strategies or policies and business line objectives
  • Develop and guide a culture of talent development to meet business objectives and strategy
  • Identify Business Execution opportunities and strategies for process improvement and risk control development over the long-term to ensure operational excellence and process efficiency
  • Interpret and develop a range of policies and procedures for long-range and fundamental retooling of perspective, approach, culture, quality, relationships, operations, and capabilities
  • Lead Business Execution team for assigned initiatives ensuring solutions are designed, integrated, and controlled to improve effectiveness, limit risk exposure, and create efficiencies as appropriate
  • Manage and develop multiple business functional areas with focus on implementing and delivering long-term strategies, policies, and process advancements for cross-functional stakeholders, and internal and external partners associated with the area of Business Execution or who are affected by its outcomes
  • Manage allocation of people and financial resources for Business Execution

Required Qualifications, US:

  • 8 years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, including Management experience, or equivalent experience demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
  • 4 years of management experience

  • Highly refined verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills with demonstrated experience engaging and influencing stakeholders

  • Advanced experience communicating and presenting complex information to multiple levels of the organization skills
  • Advanced organizational skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
  • Advanced experience with Agile Methodology, Program and/or Project Management methodologies
  • Advanced project management experience including managing large scale strategic initiatives and programs
  • Advanced experience consolidating large amounts of project status information to identify key risks, customer impact, financial implications, delays, and issues that may pose material risk
  • Advanced change management, problem analysis, and solution implementation experience
  • Advanced experience driving organizational change, developing innovative solutions, and delivering results
  • Advanced process efficiency experience, including process assessment, and recommendations for improvement including large-scale process transformation initiatives
  • Advanced strategy development and execution experience within the financial services industry
  • Advanced experience making recommendations and decisions on personnel related matters involving performance reviews, salary reviews and hiring/terminating
  • Demonstrated experience coaching, developing, inspiring, motivating, and recruiting employees through balanced leadership with a focus on employee engagement, performance management, retention, and succession planning
  • Demonstrated virtual leadership experience with demonstrated success selecting talent, ability to effectively drive results, provide feedback/direction, and manage and build relationships with direct and indirect reports in a geographically dispersed team environment
  • Technical content writing experience within the financial services industry
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Teams) skills

Job Expectations:

  • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time
  • Adhere to standards outlined with written policy as well as applicable State and Federal regulations

Pay Range

$144,400.00 - $300,000.00
