In this role, you will:
  • Provide vision and set direction for strategic cross-border and international multi-business line initiatives

  • Drive, manage, and support internal communications and forums to encourage and enable collaboration and cultural evolution initiatives, as required or directed by the Chief Executive Officer and Chief Operating Officer
  • Manage allocation of people and financial resources for Business Execution
  • Develop and guide a culture of talent development to meet business objectives and strategy
Required Qualifications:
  • 8 years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
  • 4 years of management experience

Wells Fargo is seeking a market proven and highly collaborative leader with technology and business experience and an ability to lead and enable an enterprise-wide business transformation. He/She will help the CAO office achieve multi-year transformation objectives and provide strategic leadership, operational management support as part of the execution, oversight, and coordination of key activities across the company.
The Head Business Management & Transformation for the Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) office will play a critical role in shaping the strategic direction, driving transformational initiatives, and fostering innovation across the CAO's domain which comprises ~4000 people and $5bn budget. This executive will work closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams within Data Management & Insights, Business Resiliency, Corporate Properties, Corporate Security, Enterprise Change Management, Procurement and Strategic Programs to ensure alignment with the organization's overarching goals and objectives.
Core Duties & Responsibilities
  • Lead the development and execution of comprehensive strategic plans that support the growth and efficiency objectives of Wells Fargo, specifically within the CAO's areas of oversight.
  • Drive transformational change across the CAO teams, ensuring initiatives are effectively prioritized, aligned with business goals, and implemented with clear metrics for success.
  • Foster a culture of innovation within the CAO office, encouraging the exploration of new technologies, processes, and business models to enhance operational efficiencies and customer service.
  • Collaborate with senior leaders across the organization to identify and evaluate strategic opportunities for partnership, acquisition, or divestiture.
  • Own the workforce strategy and execution of "how we work"
  • Set up and Drive employee experience initiatives
  • Provide strategic direction enabling the functional areas to deliver world-class support to business needs, requirements, and ambitions in an effective and efficient manner.
  • Provide strategic oversight and support of governance activities, to include management of the CAO ExCo, and key governance bodies - Finance, Technology and Transformation, Risk and Control.
  • Enable a digital-first strategy that applies leading edge technologies and processes allowing for an elevated and differentiated CAO marketplace offering.
  • Develop and oversee the implementation of an operating framework to enable effective delivery of management processes, business operations, projects, and initiatives.
  • Monitor and analyze key performance and risk indicators; identifying and directing tactical, purposeful responses to operational risks.
  • Support and act on behalf of the CAO for day-to-day management activities and ensure appropriate risk and control and regulatory requirements are met.
  • Lead the organizational development and business/ resource management (headcount, budget, prioritization) across the CAO organization to ensure it is run efficiently and effectively.
Pay Range
$173,300.00 - $359,900.00
