About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Credit Portfolio Consultant to join our Structured Products Group (SPG). The candidate will assist in Structured Products Group's (SPG's) quarterly Basel submission process, perform data controls, and prepare Basel reporting and analysis. The candidate will work closely with each SPG line of business (LOB) and various regulatory capital oversight teams across the bank.
In this role, you will:

• Support senior team members in quarterly Basel submission activities
• Liaise with SPG lines of business in obtaining and reviewing data required for Basel submission
• Assist with the quarterly Risk-Weighted Asset (RWA) production for the RWA calculation and reporting
• Prepare the monthly RWA Forecasting
• Complete data integrity checks and manage controls on key processes
• Perform RWA analytics including quarter-over-quarter variance analysis to identify key drivers for RWA changes
• Help support the regulatory capital input infrastructure and any enhancement initiatives
• Perform impact analysis of Basel classification changes or updates to Basel inputs
• Support senior team members in assessing Basel drivers for Basel 3 Endgame
• Prepare management reporting on the above activities
• Assist in routine non-Basel analyst tasks.

Required Qualifications, US:

• 2 years of Credit Portfolio Consulting experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications:

• Experience with the Basel regulatory capital rules and/or structured products and securitization
• Microsoft Power BI data visualization experience
• Excellent Microsoft Office skills (Outlook, Word, Excel (advanced), PowerPoint)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
• Able to work independently with a sense of urgency and can execute tasks within established timeframes
• Process driven and proactively seeks process enhancements and efficiencies.
• A BS/BA degree or higher in business administration, economics, finance, or related field
