Wells Fargo is seeking an experienced Lead Project Manager who is also considered a program professional to provide change management for our Enterprise Business Resiliency and Corporate Security portfolio. This individual will lead and support change management functions for the Chief Administrative Office Change Delivery Team within the Chief Operating Office. This person will provide support to the program/project management teams in delivering value and understanding and working through dependencies, impediments, and risks across all program areas. They will foster team empowerment, build trusted relationships, coach program sponsors and team members, and help to continue to mature our change management, product and agile practices.
In this role, you will:
Lead complex initiatives managing all activities in a project life-cycle such as initiation, planning, executing, controlling, and closing associated with projects that are long-term and cross functional with broad impact, scope and complexity
Act as key participant in large-scale project planning and budgets for change management
Review, analyze and initiate complex multi-faceted enterprise support operations, organizational systems knowledge and navigation to anticipate change impacts that require in-depth evaluation of multiple factors
Ensure full understanding of project impacts that translate into comprehensive engagement strategies
Make decisions in complex and multi-faceted situations, demonstrating ownership of the entire process from beginning to end while developing and implementing program and project level processes, procedures and performance metrics
Demonstrate understanding of policy, methodology and artifact creation that influence and lead change management to meet deliverables and drive new initiatives
Strategically collaborate and consult with stakeholders, project leads, mid-level to senior managers sponsors and business partners to clarify and define project requirements and achieve goals
Required Qualifications, US:
5 years of Project Management and Methodologies, Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
Demonstrated large scale change management experience.
Familiarity with Agile concepts and experience with Agile practice
Experience with large scale programs in a complex environment across multiple lines of business.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to identify, document, track and lead stakeholders through assessment and/or remediation of multiple risks, issues and impediments simultaneously.
Experience working with business stakeholders to create/modify operational policies, procedures and/or operating models
Exceptional consulting skills and experience
Exceptional consulting, collaborating and relationship building skills and experience
Ability to manage competing priorities
Experience working in a fast-paced matrixed environment in Financial Services industry.
Ability to take initiative and work independently with minimal supervision.
Ability to articulate a complex problem, initiate action, make difficult decisions and generate creative solutions.
Exceptional facilitation skills to lead discussion that result in consensus and buy-in
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills to include executive presence.
Experience working with ambiguity, changing priorities and deadlines.
Job Expectations:
Ability to travel up to 5% of the time.
This position offers a hybrid work schedule
Willingness to work on-site in one of the listed locations
