About the Program:
The Veteran Employment Transition (VET) Program is a nationwide 8-week Spring and Fall development program that converts directly to a full-time opportunity based on performance. We're hiring a class of 35 - 45 to begin on May 1, 2024 starting with an intensive training and orientation led by professional instructors and senior Wells Fargo employees. You'll network with your peers and Wells Fargo leaders while developing your skills and knowledge of our financial products and services before joining a team of experienced Wells Fargo employees for on-the-job training and development. Program Expectations:

• Must be able to start May 1, 2024 and attend full duration of the 8-week program
• Must be off active duty no later than April 30, 2024. (Only exceptions: terminal leave and/or traditional Guard or Reserve status, these are eligible)

Program Required Qualifications:

• 6 months of work experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
• Service in any branch of the United States military
• Able to work on the first day of the program, May 1, 2024

Engineering Associate (Available locations: Chandler, AZ; Charlotte, NC; Dallas, TX; New York, NY; Phoenix, AZ)

• Participate in projects associated with the technology domain, including installation, upgrades, and deployment efforts
• Identify opportunity for service quality and availability within the technology domain environment
• Review and analyze technical assignments or challenges that are related to low to medium risk deliverables and that require research, evaluation, and selection of alternative technology domains
• Present recommendations for resolving issues or may escalate issues as needed to meet established service level agreements
• Exercise independent judgment while also developing understanding of given technology domain in reference to security and compliance requirements
• Collaborate and consult with technology colleagues, internal partners, and stakeholders"

Desired Qualifications:

• 2 years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
• 4 years of JAVA experience, with Spring/Spring-boot
• 2 years of JAVA and/or .Net experience
• 2 years of RESTful or SOAP web services experience
• Experience in deployment on Public/Private cloud along with physical servers
• Experience in Behavior Driver Development (BDD) testing using Cucumber/Gherkin
• User Interface (UI) technologies such as Angular or React
• Microservices experience
• BS/BA degree, preferred in Computer Science or similar
• Agile or Six Sigma methodology experience
• Database experience (Oracle, SQL, Mongo, etc.)
• Experience with HTML, Javascript, CSS, Angular or React
• Big Data (Panda) experience
• Understanding of Object-oriented programming/development, such as C#
• PEGA systems experience or willingness to learn
• Data analytics and reporting experience
• Strong analytical skills and ability to solve complex technical problems
