Location: Waterbury, CT

$59,000 Annual Salary

plus earn an additional $8,000 per year with 1/4ly incentives

plus $7,500 Sign-on Bonus Available

BackgroundIntensive In-Home Child and Adolescent Psychiatric Service (IICAPS) helps children and families in crisis through home-based individual and family therapy, crisis response, parent guidance, school consultations, and other methods. Children and families receive a comprehensive assessment of treatment needs, including, a psychological and psychiatric evaluation. A treatment plan tailored to the child and family is developed and implemented by a two-person team of mental health professionals. Families can receive services for approximately 6 months.ResponsibilitiesThe In-home Clinician is responsible for direct services with early school-aged children and their families including but not limited to evaluation/assessment; home & community-based services; outreach; case and care management; individual and family therapies; crisis intervention; behavioral analysis; collaboration with other professionals and team members and related community services (including consultation and/or community and/or school placements). A special clinical emphasis on child development and attachment is practiced.
RequirementsEducation: Master’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology/Clinical Mental Health Counseling, Marriage & Family Therapy or related human services field.
Experience: 2 years of post-graduate clinical experience working with early school-aged children or families is preferred. Experience in child development theory, family therapies, as well as family systems theory and practice, is preferred.
Licenses & Certifications: MSW candidates must possess an LMSW at a minimum. Psychology/Clinical Mental Health Counseling or Marriage & Family Therapy degrees must have an active Associate Credential or LPC/LMFT.

Excellent oral, written and computer skills.

Schedule: Full-time, Monday-Friday; Willingness to work flexible hours to meet the needs of families. 

Free supervision is provided. 

The company provides laptops and smartphones.

Mileage reimbursement for business-related miles.
