Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and self-motivated individual to join our team and help expand provider awareness and patient engagement in the Wellinks program in Connecticut. In this role, you will play a vital part in building and nurturing relationships with key stakeholders involved in the cardiopulmonary care journey, including physicians (PCPs, Pulmonologists, Cardiologists), clinicians, case managers, discharge coordinators, and others.
Success in this part-time temporary position may lead to full-time employment opportunities in a similar role.

Responsibilities:

  • Schedule, route, and perform visits to various call points in the defined territory, including professional and residential locations.
  • Build and grow relationships with physicians (PCPs, Pulmonologists, Cardiologists), clinicians, case managers, discharge coordinators, and other stakeholders involved in the cardiopulmonary care journey.
  • Coordinate and support marketing and educational in-servicing to the above stakeholders, including outreach, setup, onsite support (physician office, hospital, etc.), delivery, and follow-up.
  • Assist with the patient referral and program onboarding process, including site-of-care and in-home support as needed. Activities may include familiarizing the patient with the Wellinks program, technology setup, troubleshooting, and more.
  • Communicate with Wellinks partners and colleagues on a frequent basis to support continuous learning and process improvement.

Required Qualifications:

  • One or more of the following clinical qualifications, or similar: Respiratory Therapist (RRT), Clinical Exercise Physiologist (RT), Nurse (RN), Physical Therapist (PT), Occupational Therapist (OT).
  • Experience in a field-based role requiring self-management of scheduling, routing, and execution of responsibilities.
  • Associates Degree, Bachelors Degree, or equivalent professional certification(s).
  • A valid motor vehicle license is required, along with access to a vehicle for company purposes. (Reimbursement will be provided.)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with cardiopulmonary care, with an emphasis on cardiopulmonary rehabilitation.
  • Experience visiting or calling on physician offices or healthcare facilities (clinics, hospitals, etc).
  • Medical device or pharmaceutical clinical specialist experience.
  • Experience with patient communication in the home or a healthcare facility.
