Responsibilities

for this position will include the following :

  • Conducting due diligence on prospective issuers;
  • Preparing underwriting analysis;
  • Drafting investment memos and participating in investmentmittee discussions;
  • Monitoring private debt investments;
  • Attendingpany management meetings and relevant industry conferences;
  • Assisting with quarterly and annual reporting needs;
  • Assisting with outbound market research,pany mapping, and credit rating analysis;
  • Building and managing internal databases including investment pipelines and investment partners; and
  • pletingplex analytical projects under tight time constraints.

OTHER QUALIFICATIONS

Additional qualifications and individual characteristics are likely to include :

  • A minimum of 2-5 years of relevant experience on the buy- or sell-side within private credit or credit research, private equity, investment banking, or management consulting.
  • An understanding of the venture capital / start-up ecosystem and / or the US growth lending market would be additive;
  • Strong academic credentials : an undergraduate degree in finance, economics or accounting is preferred;
  • Ability to organize, manage, and prioritize time well;
  • Ability to work independently and make decisions in the face of uncertainty;
  • Strict attention to detail : a demonstrated analytical, problem-solving ability is required;
  • Independence of thought, an entrepreneurial nature, and a global perspective;
  • Sound judgment, strong work ethic and highest personal and professional integrity;
  • Interest and ability to a build network in the growth lending ecosystem including issuers, industry peers, venture capitalists and financing partners; and
  • Willingness to travel.

The base salary range for this position is :

USD 100,000 - 225,000

This range takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered when makingpensation decisions, including but not limited to skill sets;

role; skills and experience; certifications; and education. This range is an estimate, and further details on salary and totalpensation aspects will be shared with candidates during the recruitment process.

Base salary is only oneponent of Wellington's totalpensation approach. Other rewards may include a discretionary Corporate Bonus and / or Incentives, if eligible.
