Job Summary
WELLBE INTRODUCTION
The WellBe care model is a Physician Led Advanced Practice clinician driven geriatric care (care of older adults) team focused on the care of the frail, poly-chronic, elderly Medicare Advantage patients. This population is typically underserved and very challenged with access to care. To address these problems, we have elected to bring the care to the patient, instead of trying to bring the patient to the care. Care is provided throughout the entire continuum of care - from chronic care and urgent care in the home, to hospital, to skilled nursing facility, to assisted living, to palliative care, to end of life care. WellBe's physician/advanced practicing clinician led geriatric care teams' partner with the patient's primary care physician to provide concierge level geriatric medical care and social support in the home as well as delivering and coordinating across the entire care continuum.
GENERAL SUMMARY
The Sr. Director of Strategy Execution & Value Delivery is responsible for serving as an execution oriented, results driven business SME, in WellBe's fast-faced environment, to ensure priority initiatives are delivered and implemented in a scalable manner. Partners with and serves as an extension of business owners/sponsors to lead cross functional internal and external teams to ensure integrated program execution, as well as enable proactive, streamlined and insights-driven decision-making to accelerate performance of WellBe's clinical and overall business model. Brings industry and analytical expertise to serve as an internal consultant to support integrated planning, develop, implement and optimize processes to enable enterprise standardization where appropriate, conduct performance/opportunity assessments and formulate recommendations based on quantitative and qualitative data, etc.
This position requires critical thinking, time and stakeholder management, thorough communication, agility, organizational excellence, process development/implementation, reporting, high degree of healthcare knowledge, and finally project/program effectiveness.
In addition to planning and execution, this person will create compelling narratives explaining WellBe's priorities and promote cross-functional collaboration and patient-first thinking to bring WellBe's mission to life: making healthcare easier for all.
Job Description
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Steers company towards operational excellence at scale in a manner that balances short-term objectives with longer term goals and corporate objectives [insert focus area - engagement, clinical outcomes, cost]
  • Provides critical thinking and influence by helping to link the company's strategic agenda to the resulting execution plans.
  • Serve as subject matter expert (SME) to provide strategic vision to achieve business objectives insert focus area - engagement, clinical outcomes, cost] as well as support the actions needed to achieve it.
  • Define a prioritized portfolio of work insert focus area - engagement, clinical outcomes, cost] in line with corporate KPIs with a focus on appropriate peer benchmarks.
  • Leads program and business teams on initiative scoping, resource allocation, work plan and KPI development insert focus area - engagement, clinical outcomes, cost]
  • Develop, maintain and deliver intended performance results from an integrated, end-to-end insert focus area - engagement, clinical outcomes, cost] roadmap that ensures delivery against portfolio of strategic initiatives while balancing core business activities with the department heads and team members.
  • Develop and oversee implementation of change management strategies to unlock value from insert focus area - engagement, clinical outcomes, cost] portfolio initiatives with minimal disruption to core day-to-day operations.
  • Lead development of project resources and define/implement standard practices, processes, tools and reporting to provide consistency in methodology, delivery, approach, and discipline that enhance organizational effectiveness while delivering against strategic initiative portfolio.
  • Provide insights and recommendations from actionable analytical findings to accelerate insert focus area - engagement, clinical outcomes, cost] portfolio
  • Enable final administrative and operational decisions necessary to advance strategic.

Job Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS
Educational Requirements :
  • BS/BA in business, engineering, healthcare management or equivalent work experience
  • 15 years' experience in healthcare
  • 10 years in management consulting, internal consulting, or strategy execution
  • 10 years experience in complex problem solving, involving large datasets and analysis.
  • Solid understanding of project management methodologies, including the ability to identify and resolve issues, manage risk, and develop detailed work plans and specifications
Required Skills and Abilities:
  • Healthcare experience is required; preferably in value-based healthcare.
  • Experience in start-up or fast paced dynamic environment.
  • Experience diagnosing, isolating, and resolving complex issues using data-driven methodologies and recommending/implementing strategies to resolve.
  • Experience in process design, development, and improvement methodologies
  • Demonstrated success leading, managing, and delivering results from complex enterprise-wide initiatives.
  • Ability to multi-task and manage competing priorities.
  • Experience delivering data and analytic insights to improve operational performance, utilizing digital dashboards and reports that make it easy for senior leadership to stay informed.
  • Experience interfacing with clients and partner vendors on various project deliverables
  • Must be able to work in a matrix environment with experience managing external collaborations and multiple partnerships in academic, small, and large healthcare insurance companies including healthcare providers.
  • Ability to build strong multidisciplinary cross-functional teams and influence others
  • Must have the ability to motivate others, prioritize multiple tasks, and maintain positive interpersonal working relationships
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required. Must be able to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.
  • Advanced level skill in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
Supervisory Responsibility : This position will have supervisory responsibility.
