IT Specialist - Full-time

Now available is the IT Specialist position. In this role, the successful candidate will work closely with IT Administrator and outsourced partner to provide IT services to users in multiple locations with goal to support mission of organization.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
  • Create, change, disable, and delete user and email accounts.
  • Support disaster recovery plan including daily onsite and offsite backups.
  • Verify the integrity of desktop and server hardware and software.
  • Assist with configuring hardware, software, peripherals, services and storage according to needs of the facility.
  • Assist with developing and maintaining system and network standards.
  • Protect highly confidential material.
  • Verify and maintain current software licenses.
  • Effectively communicate with management, team members and residents regarding Information Technology systems.
  • Perform other related duties as directed by IT Administrator or Chief Financial Officer.
OTHER FUNCTIONS:
  • Assist new team members in following established facility policies and procedures.
  • Participate in facility education programs and complete assignments.
  • Participate in Administration Department and other facility meetings as assigned and scheduled.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES AND TRAITS:
  • Ability to problem solve and troubleshoot hardware and software issues
  • Understanding of security protocols and network topologies
  • Ability to support Microsoft and other common operating systems
  • Ability to periodically work evenings and/or weekends with little or no advance notice
