Brand Ambassador

Well Crafted Beer Company is looking for an individual with a passion for craft beer to join our team part time. We are searching for a person that can represent our brand at events, tastings, and festivals selling and promoting our high quality and diverse brews. The Brand Ambassador should possess proven craft beer knowledge, preferably from past experience at a brewery or craft beer bar and must be ready to bring a high degree of energy to our events and customers.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $12-20 per hour (depending on event)

Responsibilities:

The main responsibility of the Brand Ambassador is to represent Well Crafted Beer Company in a responsible, positive, approachable, professional, and educated manner at various events.

Specifically you will:

• Attend beer training to become familiar with our products and culture.
• Training provided for beer tap set-up and troubleshooting for draft beer events.
• Plan, set up, execute, break down, and clean after events.
• Organize, pack and transport items to the event.
• Drive a company van for event and beer transportation.
• Educate customers on our products and company.
• Sell customers beer, merchandise, and other products and be able to explain what makes them unique.
• Check identification and turn down customers without proper identification.
• Handle cash and credit card transactions at specific events when needed.
• Maintain beer quality throughout the event: ensure it’s cold, fresh, and carbonated.
• Break down, clean, maintain, and store event items after a successful event.
• Maintain a positive relationship with people you encounter including event organizers, other brewery representatives and brand ambassadors, customers, and staff.
• Follow all state and federal laws for the sale, promotion, and delivery of brewery products. (Which will be reviewed on the job.)
• Represent the Well Crafted brand; be responsible, positive, approachable and professional.
• Support management and sales staff as needed.

Qualifications:

• Proven work experience in the beverage industry.
• Deep knowledge of craft beer, the brewing process, beer styles, how to tap a keg, and more.
• Able to lift and maneuver up to 150 lbs regularly.
• Strong communication skills and ability to talk to people, especially people you don’t know.
• Strong work ethic, flexibility, and ability to multitask in a fast paced environment.
• Must be good at problem solving and thinking on your feet.
• Age 21 or older.
• Satisfactory background check and driving record.
• RAMP certification is a plus.
• Experience with jockey box set-up and troubleshooting is a plus!

Work environment:

• May include continuous walking, standing, repetitive hand/arm movements, bending, reaching,

lifting, carrying, occasional heavy lifting, and continuous interaction with people in a moderately

loud and busy environment.

• Events can be indoors or outdoors.
• Most events are scheduled on nights and weekends with a 4-5 hour minimum.

Available shifts and compensation: Available shifts all days except Mondays and Tuesdays. Compensation depends on your experience.
