Weldon Tire, a family owned Iowa based business, has been serving the Dubuque area for 41 years. Weldon Tire has an immediate opening for a tire service technician in Dubuque, IA. We are also a member of the Heartland Tire group which has multiple service locations across Iowa, Nebraska, and Missouri. This job may require an individual to be able to lift up to approximately 100lbs at certain times. Some of the basic job tasks that must be performed daily are mounting/dismounting of commercial truck tires, mounting/dismounting passenger/light truck tires, fixing flat tires, mobile service repairs and repairs on Off road tires. Safety is a top priority as well and our employees must be willing to follow all procedures. This career requires a clean current drivers license and ability to pass a DOT physical every two years. Compensation will be negotiable for a experienced truck tire tech with multiple years experience. We offer paid vacation and holidays, health insurance, optional 401K, and advancement opportunities.
