Job DescriptionThis role will report to the Director of Accounting and work alongside our strong accounting team with exposure to our Finance team as well. It will manage the Accounts Payable team and assist in Corporate Reporting. Main responsibilities will be managing the process and ensuring accuracy, timeliness of payments, and meets all financial deadlines.
We are looking for someone with drive and determination that wants to take on a hands-on role. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years’ accounting experience and a bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or relevant field.
Duties & Responsibilities
• Managing the Accounts Payable function and the team
• Trains and oversees employees involved in the Accounts Payable function
• Develop guideline for proper handling and coding of invoices to maintain general ledger expense account
• Responsible for accurate and timely posting of expenses invoices and payments
accounts and ensure that any discrepancies are identified and resolved.
• Serve as an expert on accounting matters related to Accounts Payable
• Support Director with month end closing, reporting, and reconciliations
• Provide financial status information and prepare ad hoc reports as requested.

• BSc/BA in accounting, finance, or relevant field preferred
• 5 years of accounting experience
• D365 experience strongly encouraged
• Understanding and knowledge of US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and financial reporting principles and practices
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills
• Good verbal and written communication skills in English
• Very proficient in Excel
