    Additional salary credit may be given for internal transfers and recent Greeley-Evans School District 6 rehires, up to $31.29 per hour
    Contract Length/ Days: (2023-2024/ 174 Days)

    EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
    Required:
    • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
    • Current Colorado Class "C" driver's license
    • Meet current district vehicle insurance qualifications for driving coverage
    • Clean MVR
    Preferred:
    • Bilingual preferred
    • Or any other combination of related experience of related education, experience, and training
    JOB DESCRIPTION
    Summary/Objective: To assist with receiving and distribution of supplies and materials to all buildings within the district.
    Essential Functions:
    • Handles, lifts, or carries any or all materials in the warehouse.
    • Loads, transports, and delivers all materials according to schedule.
    • Examines condition of shipments received and delivered, noting any damages, mis-counts, etc.
    • Unpacks and verifies shipments received against the packing clip and purchase order for any discrepancies.
    • Checks delivery truck and equipment to ensure it is in safe, working condition daily.
    • Delivers and picks up special orders.
    • Cleans and maintains order in the warehouse.
    • Assists with stocking warehouse supplies.
    • Assists with inventory counts and controls.
    • Sets up orders for the district buildings.
    • Fills in on other delivery routes.
    • Transports confidential materials.
    • Removes snow and ice from loading and unloading areas.
    • Removes trash.
    • Transports bank deposits.
    Additional Qualifications:
    Knowledge, Skills, and Mental Ability
    • Knowledge and skills sufficient to perform all duties of the position.
    • Knowledge of clerical procedures.
    • Knowledge of district computer system.
    • Ability to operate delivery vehicle and warehouse equipment.
    • Ability to follow and successfully complete both oral and written directions.
    • Ability to enunciate clearly and communicate positively throughout the work day.
    • Ability to work with people of various personality types and maintain effective working relations.
    • Ability to perform lifting and work in all kinds of weather.

    Work Environment/ Physical Demands:
    • Ability to sit for long periods of time, numerous distractions, visual, auditory and ambulatory acuity important.
    • Occasional lifting of up to 30 pounds
    • May work in moderate weather extremes.
    • Use of visual display terminal.
    • May work in conditions such as fumes, noxious odors, and dust. Fluorescent lighting.
    • Use of the following equipment: Computer, Delivery truck, Delivery van, Forklift, Pallet jack
    • Ability to endure physical effort in unloading deliveries. Upper body strength to lift up to 50 pounds or team lift up to 100 pounds. Lower body strength to stand and walk throughout the work day.
    • Ability to drive delivery vehicles.
    • Ability to climb ladders.
