Thrift City is looking for a Warehouse Associate to unload materials and deliveries and move them to and from storage areas, machines, and loading docks, into trucks or storage facilities.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Transport material or equipment to and from designated areas in the facility.
• Loading and unloading goods from trucks.
• Operating compactor on a daily basis.
• Moving goods around the storage facility.
• Managing hangers/trash
• Performing daily equipment checks.
• Cleaning restrooms/sweeping sales floor.
Requirements
• Frequently lift up to 50 pounds and adjust body position to bend, stoop, stand, walk, turn, pivot and stand for long periods of time.
• At least 18 years of age.
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Must be able to lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs. and stand for up to 6-8 hours per shift.
