Welch Packaging has a Truck Driver position available. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals that enjoy the challenge of working in a customer focused and FAST paced environment.

Duties :

Safety and Compliance

Complies with Driver responsibilities as outlined in company DAART program and as required by DOT

Maintain vehicle in accordance to Elkhart Transportation management policy

Operates vehicle in a safe and efficient manner complying with company policy and procedures, and applicable state and federal laws.

Support on time delivery by transporting loads by established route to proper destination as efficient as possible while observing all traffic laws and safety regulations.

Inspect trailer loads to ensure proper loading processes and it is the correct load before leaving facility.

Verify product count while truck is being loaded.

Comply with obtaining correct acknowledgement or signature and date for bill of lading and necessary signatures and date;

return properly completed documentation to Transportation Manager.
