The Welch Eye Center is a fast-paced General Ophthalmology practice that is rapidly growing. We are currently looking for a full-time ophthalmic assistant/technician COA/COT who can work successfully with patients of all ages. One year of Ophthalmic technician experience required.

Ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail and excellent verbal and written communication skills. Multitasking and friendly demeanor a must. Must be able to be part of a cohesive group as well as work independently.

Responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to: performing complete vision and diagnostic testing to include: confrontation visual field, pupillary evaluation, applanation tonometry, color vision screening, contact lens fitting and care, refracting, VA, IOP, HVF, OCT, scribing, Lenstar, corneal topography, EPIC, Fundus Photos etc. Ability to enter all information into an EHR system (Nextgen experience a plus), have some scribing capabilities. Must be self-motivated, organized, customer service oriented and a team player. Data entry/typing skills a must. Caring attitude and excellent communication skills needed. Excellent benefit package. Bilingual a plus but not required.

Salary dependent upon experience.
