Weiss Family Properties is Hiring an Apartment Manager Near Van Nuys, CA

  • This position is part-time with onsite living requirements.
  • Onsite Manager will report directly to and maintain communication with Weiss Family Properties.

Qualifications

  • Bilingual – Spanish and English
  • Must be eligible to work in USA
  • Maintain effective communication with all tenants and office personnel
  • Positive customer service attitude

Rent Collection

  • Be available to collect money orders from tenants

Community/Tenant Relations

  • Maintain good communication with all tenants
  • Be professional and ethical at all times
  • Answer and return phone calls with tenants, vendors, and office personnel
  • Enforce building rules
  • Monitor video surveillance cameras
  • Serve notices to tenants
  • Complete and submit work orders for tenants as needed

Facility Cleaning and Maintenance

  • Maintain cleanliness of all community areas including entrances, laundry room, parking lot, courtyard, hallways and staircases
  • Ensure community trash is in garbage container
  • Report tenants to office who are not following building rules
  • Report to maintenance department of any vandalism or graffiti
  • Meet third party vendors and provide access to building

Compensation

  • Full apartment rent credit
  • Addition part time hourly compensation is paid bi-weekly
