Description

 The Perioperative Registered Nurse provides direct patient care to neonate through geriatric patient populations, addresses the psychosocial, physical, and general aspects of care related to the Peri-Operative environment and communicates with surgeon and CRNA continuously and as needed about patient condition. This position also assists with the maintenance of surgical equipment and inventory including product outdates, participates in performance improvement activities, and assesses surgical environment for equipment functioning and readiness, obtains supplies for individual cases and ensures all appropriate needs of the surgical operating team are met. Monitors, positions, and assists patients during all phases of the surgical process.

Requirements

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.

Current Registered Nurse license within the state of Idaho.

Current BLS Certification.

ACLS certification completed by the end of orientation and before taking solo call.

PALS certification completed by the end of orientation and before taking solo call.

One (1) year of experience in Perioperative environment Preferred.
