- Pickups, delivers and transfers between stores or customers new or repaired equipment and stock from warehouses.
- Follows Company driving policy at all times.
- Monitors vehicle performance and cleanliness.
- Keeps accurate vehicle maintenance logs.
- Loads and unload equipment and ensure loads are secure during transport.
- Contacts all customer delivery or pickups prior to time of arrival.
- Ensures all equipment delivered and transported is accurately identified and maintained.
- Provides basic operating instructions to customers on delivered equipment and ensures customer understands all safety features of delivered equipment.
- Reports any safety or driving concerns or incidents to Store Manager.
- Confirms all repaired equipment being delivered has been repaired properly and notifies Logistics Manager of any issues.
- Monitors and maintains vehicle performance and cleanliness; keeps accurate vehicle maintenance logs.
- Maintains a positive work atmosphere by acting and communicating in a manner to get along with customers, co-workers and management.
- 1 year in a commercial driving position
- Possess and maintain Chauffeurs license
- Must pass and maintain DOT medical certificate
- Ability to handle a variety of tasks
- Careful attention to detail; careful attention to numbers
- Basic math skills are required.
- Full-Time position working 40-50 hours a week during peak season (April-June). Saturdays required.
