Summary:
Responsible for maintenance, prep and light repair of various outdoor power equipment and various shop maintenance duties.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Pickups, delivers and transfers between stores or customers new or repaired equipment and stock from warehouses.
  • Follows Company driving policy at all times.
  • Monitors vehicle performance and cleanliness.
  • Keeps accurate vehicle maintenance logs.
  • Loads and unload equipment and ensure loads are secure during transport.
  • Contacts all customer delivery or pickups prior to time of arrival.
  • Ensures all equipment delivered and transported is accurately identified and maintained.
  • Provides basic operating instructions to customers on delivered equipment and ensures customer understands all safety features of delivered equipment.
  • Reports any safety or driving concerns or incidents to Store Manager.
  • Confirms all repaired equipment being delivered has been repaired properly and notifies Logistics Manager of any issues.
  • Monitors and maintains vehicle performance and cleanliness; keeps accurate vehicle maintenance logs.
  • Maintains a positive work atmosphere by acting and communicating in a manner to get along with customers, co-workers and management.
Qualifications and Competencies:
  • 1 year in a commercial driving position
  • Possess and maintain Chauffeurs license
  • Must pass and maintain DOT medical certificate
  • Ability to handle a variety of tasks
  • Careful attention to detail; careful attention to numbers
  • Basic math skills are required.
Work Schedule: Part-Time
  • Full-Time position working 40-50 hours a week during peak season (April-June). Saturdays required.
Pay Range: $16-$20 hourly based on experience.
