Responsibilities:
- Implement the professional curriculum provided and add own creativity to lesson plans
- Create a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow
- Provide guidance and support to children in their social, emotional, and cognitive development
- Foster positive relationships with parents and families through effective communication
- Manage classroom behavior and promote positive discipline techniques
- Ensure the health, safety, and well-being of all children in the classroom
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a cohesive learning environment

Experience:
- Previous experience working with preschool-aged children is required
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and staff
- Knowledge of behavior management techniques and child welfare practices
- Familiarity with toddler care and early childhood education principles
- Ability to incorporate math concepts into daily activities and lessons
- Experience working in a daycare or similar educational setting is preferred
- Experience working with students with diverse backgrounds and abilities is a plus

NOTE:

Must Have:

• 2,500 hours documented working with children
• Four child care clearances required (FBI fingerprinting, state police criminal background check, national sex offender registry, and child abuse)
• Work physical with TB test
• Two letters of reference from unrelated sources (can be used to document 2,500 hours)
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• State mandated trainings for child abuse and health/safety (required within 90 days of employment)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour
