Director of Compliance – Compliance$50k Based on Experience*****On-Demand Pay Benefit Offered*****Come join the Weigand-Omega Team for this exciting opportunity. We are looking to add a Director of Compliance in our Wichita, Kansas office. The Director of Compliance will be required to assist and guide the Compliance Officers/Monitors and the District/Regional Residential Community Manager in the coordination, general administration, monitoring of the Section 42 compliance work for apartment properties involved in the LIHTC Program Section 42 of the IRS code.Knowledge, Abilities and Other Qualities The ability to apply principles of logical thinking to a variety of practical situations and accurately follow standardized procedures that may occasionally call for minor deviations.Computer literacy and proficiency in programs like MS Excel spreadsheets and Word documentsThe ability to think rationally beyond a specific set of instructions.The capability to work at a fast pace and with multiple tasks, perform duties while under pressure and meet deadlines in a timely manner, interact/communicate with other site employees, residents, visitors, and the public in a professional and pleasant manner.Legible penmanship and accurate typing skillsThe ability to correctly deal with lease documents, fill out paperwork, and keep accurate records.The ability to work with figures.The ability to compute rental amounts, prorates, discounts, percentages, and basic math computations.The capability to operate fax/copy machine, telephone, calculator, and computer. Must have good communication skills and the ability to successfully interact with all types of people and have a professional phone manner.Self-motivation to set and accomplish goals personally and for the company required.Experience Training and Education High school diploma or equivalencyRequired Prior Section 42 experience and HUD experience and other state agency program experience preferred.Weigand-Omega provides a competitive salary and comprehensive Total Rewards package including health, vision, dental, 401K and more.
