What You Will Do

  • Perform welding activities using various processes such as MIG, TIG, arc, and spot welding.
  • Set up and operate welding equipment including welding machines, torches, and plasma cutters.
  • Interpret and follow technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to determine welding requirements.
  • Inspect, clean, and maintain welding equipment regularly to ensure optimal performance.
  • Troubleshoot and repair equipment malfunctions or defects, or report issues to the appropriate personnel.
  • Adhere to industry standards, regulations, and safety protocols to ensure compliance.
  • Inspect welded structures and components for defects, distortions, or deviations from specifications.

What You Will Bring

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical certifications or vocational training in welding is highly desirable.
  • Proven experience as a Welder, preferably with a minimum of 10 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Proficient in various welding techniques, including MIG, TIG, arc, and spot welding.
  • Strong understanding of different metals, alloys, and welding processes suitable for each material.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications accurately.
  • Skilled in the safe operation and maintenance of welding equipment and tools.
  • Knowledge of welding safety protocols and practices.
  • Experience with quality assurance and inspection techniques for welded assemblies.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality workmanship.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Effective communication skills to collaborate and communicate with team members and supervisors.
  • Physical stamina and dexterity to perform welding tasks in various positions and environments.
