Weifield Group Contracting is Hiring an Electrical Service Project Manager Near Centennial, CO

What You Will Do

  • Oversee and direct Weifield Service medium to small electrical projects
  • Create and manage budgets, detailed project plans, assign tasks, and review all aspects of these service projects
  • Make effective decisions when presented with multiple options for how to progress with the project
  • Communicate with executives, management, and stakeholders to keep the project aligned with their goals
  • Perform quality control on the project, adjust schedules and targets as needed
  • Coordinate with contractors, architects, engineers, and other team members to ensure that all tasks are completed in a timely manner
  • Manage the bidding process for projects to ensure that they adhere to company standards
  • Ensure that all work complies with local, state, and federal regulations
  • Review blueprints and schematics to determine feasibility of projects
  • Ensure that all team members are properly trained to perform their jobs safely and efficiently
  • Perform RFP/RFQ walk-throughs and project bids and proposals

What You Will Bring

In addition to having electrical knowledge, the ability to interpret drawings and read/understand specifications, you will have

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Project Manager overseeing electrical scopes of work up to $5M
  • A degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or equivalent combination of technical and supervisory experience as an electrician in the Commercial, Industrial, and Institutional setting
  • 8 years of experience/knowledge of electrical construction and project management
  • Proven ability to apply innovative management techniques to maximize employee performance thorough understanding of corporate and industry practices, processes, standards etc. and their impact on project activities
  • Strong knowledge of electrical permitting, estimating, job costing and job forecasting
  • Superior communication and interpersonal (tact, diplomacy, influence, etc.) skills
  • Proficiency with computer systems and department software including Office 365 Suite
  • Accubid estimating experience preferred
