Weidner Apartment Homes is Hiring a National Leasing Specialist 2 Near Kirkland, WA

Pay Range: $25 - $27 an hour 
This role as a National Leasing Agent II is a role that requires 6 months or more of Weidner contact center or 2 years of call center experience to be a qualified applicant. This role will handle all prospect and resident calls, including but not limited to application status requests, move-in/move-out experience, escalations for customer service, and light maintenance calls. 
Performance – Setting New Standards. . .
  • Assist with resident calls, application statuses, account questions, and work order submissions as needed, demonstrating a dedication to resident satisfaction.
  • Mentor teammates through challenges and learning opportunities to ensure they can grow towards a level II role.
  • Responsible for the management of interactions with residents through Zendesk (Weidner’s internal customer management software) for escalated customer service calls, assigning categories, notes, and response rates will be new measurements to achieve a higher level of customer service.
  • Conduct weekly or bi-weekly follow-up calls with properties to inquire about any property specials in Yardi or hot sheets.
  • Between calls, agents will manage and respond to the Yardi CRM queue, ensuring timely and accurate follow-up with prospects.
  • Direct calls to the appropriate department, property or contact center agent based on prospect requests, ensuring efficient routing of calls.
  • Pay meticulous attention to detail when entering prospect contact information into CRM, ensuring accuracy for follow-up purposes as well as adding notes in each guest card to allow effective communication between on-site staff and contact center agents.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to continuous learning and growth by developing and maintaining in-depth knowledge of each property within Weidner’s 300 property portfolio and the amenities they offer across 12 states and Canada.
  • Respond promptly to incoming calls from potential prospective renters, converting inquiries into property tours and future appointments while offering personalized assistance to create memorable interactions.

Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Customer service-oriented with the ability to provide a positive experience
  • Detail-oriented and accurate data entry skills.
  • Adaptability to learn and adapt to changing property details and procedures.
  • Prior experience in a call center or customer service role is a plus.
  • Knowledge of Yardi’s CRM systems is advantageous.
  • Ability to sit at a workstation for long periods of time.
  • Must be able to work out of a regional or home office location.
  • Requires 6 months or more of Weidner contact center experience or 2 years of call center.
  • Two years of property management industry experience is preferred but not required.
  • Ability to multitask while on the phone to operate multiple softwares while reducing dead air during customer interactions.
  • Excellent project management, organizational, and time management skills
  • Able to provide creative solutions to complex problems
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Must agree to a criminal background check and sign an agreement for voluntary drug testing.
  • Valid and current driver’s license.
