Build and repair a wide variety of tools, jigs, fixtures and dies using tool room equipment and machines including mills, lathes, grinders and other special machines and tools.

• Knowledge equivalent to accredited apprenticeship training and 5 years of experience
• Ability to operate a variety of tool room machines including engine lathes, milling machines, saws, various types of grinders and other special machines used in tool and die work
• Ability to use a wide variety of precision measuring instruments
• Ability to work with minimum direction from others
• Ability to work from complicated drawings and specifications
