This part-time, fast paced 15-20 hours per week position requires you to be local but allows for remote work. Our busy, pediatric therapy clinic requires a responsible, detail oriented person to schedule client sessions and conduct the following duties:

Responsibilities:

Scheduling clients

Check insurance coverage (eligibility/benefits/authorization)
Obtain authorization for services, if required
Monitor authorizations

Requirements:

Good verbal communication skills

Experience with medical insurance (e.g. claim denials, reprocessing claims, identifying errors)

Experience with EMR, speaking with insurance representatives

Knowledge of Word, Google Doc/Sheets, EMR
