The People Success Leader will develop relationships across the business in support of all people-related activities. The person in this role will work closely with the Director, People Success, West Area to develop and lead people strategies, fostering a positive culture of growth and collaboration. Key responsibilities include employee relations, talent strategy for the business unit, and implementing organizational development plans that will fuel a results-oriented and high-performing team.


When will you work?

  • This position will work a hybrid schedule, required to be onsite at our San Jose, CA location 3 days per week.


What you’ll do:

  • Establish and build trusting relationships with business unit employees and leadership team.
  • Build a thorough understanding of the team and overall business operations, as well as People Success strategies and initiatives, to develop people plans that support the overall business goals.
  • Provide policy guidance and direction for all people-related needs.
  • Coach managers and employees in enhancing Wedgewood Pharmacy’s performance-driven culture, including performance feedback, employee relations, goal setting and talent development.
  • Research and analyze employee trends to understand ways to increase employee engagement, activation, and retention.
  • Conduct investigations and resolve employee relations issues in a timely and effective manner.
  • Assist in the design and implementation of organizational structures and position descriptions.
  • Maintain compliance and understanding of relevant state regulations.
  • Analyze metrics and provide reports to leaders to develop solutions, programs, and policies.

Who you are:

  • Strong solutions focus, with a demonstrated ability to quickly identify problems and drive appropriate solutions
  • Ability to translate enterprise-wide initiatives into local projects
  • Confidence to voice opinions, ideas, and willingness to deliver honest feedback and coaching
  • Passion for customer service and helping others succeed
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Comfortable with technology, getting the most out of applications and finding and learning new tools, including HRIS systems, preferably UKG


What you’ve done:

  • Gained 3 years experience in HR or related field, preferably in California
  • Earned a bachelors degree in human resources, business or related field or combined relevant experience
  • Demonstrated success operating in a matrixed, fast-paced, rapidly changing business environment
  • Demonstrated ability as a connector who collaborates and always keeps the broader team in mind
