WeCare at Rolling Meadows is actively seeking a motivated Dietician for our community in Waynesburg, PA. Our Dietician is a responsible to assure the optimal level of quality care is provided to our residents.

Job Description:

  • Provides medical nutrition therapy including nutrition assessment, diet modification, nutrition education, and intervention for the patient population
  • Follows all guidelines as outlined within the Company Diet Manual and the Clinical Nutrition Policies & Procedures Manual
  • Complies with all regulatory standards to include federal, state, and accrediting agencies while adhering to facility confidentiality, HIPPA regulations, and patient rights policies
  • Participates in patient satisfaction programs, departmental meetings, and facility wide Quality Assurance/Performance Improvement programs
  • Will assist Dietary Manager in all operations of the dietary department as needed

Shift:

Full – Time

Candidate Qualifications:

  • At least 1 years' experience in Skilled Nursing Homes or LTC facilities
  • Must be a Registered Dietitian.
  • Knowledgeable with State and Federal DOH rules and regulations for Skilled Nursing Homes
  • Expertise in performing Nutritional Assessments.
  • Expertise in creating and modifying Nutritional Care Plans
  • Familiar with MDS, EMR software for Clinical Documentation
  • Excellent communication skills
  • ServSafe certification preferred but not required
