Foltsbrook Center Nursing & Rehabilitation has an immediate PT position available in Housekeeping/Laundry Services at our facility on 104 N. Washington St, Herkimer, NY 13350.

A qualified candidate for the Housekeeper position should be responsible, hard-working, trustworthy, detail-oriented, and flexible candidate. They must stand, squat, kneel, bend and be on their feet for long periods. Among other qualities, we require our housekeepers to be able to communicate strongly with one another, as well as managment.

Responsibilities

• Check stocking levels of all consumables and replace when appropriate.
• Deal with reasonable complaints/requests with professionalism and patience.
• Ensure all rooms are cared for and inspected according to standards.
• Notify superiors on any damages, deficits and disturbances.
• Perform a variety of cleaning activities such as sweeping, mopping, dusting and polishing.
• Protect equipment and make sure there are no inadequacies.

Requirements

• Friendly, patient-oriented personality.
• High school diploma or equivalent qualification is preferred.
• Punctual, committed to coming in on a given daily basis.
• The ability to mangage one's time effectively.
• The ability to clean facility thoroughly.
