Position Summary 

The DevOps Engineer helps define, build, and support Magento Commerce Engine which powers The Digital Platform. This role contributes to the day to day responsibility In managing smooth operations of production applications and Infrastructure. The DevOps Engineer manages and resolves production Issues, leads engineering solutions, automations, and supports optimizing digital operations. This role Is key In streamlining operations and process Innovations by providing application monitoring and alerting, CI/CD modernization, and other efforts. An Ideal candidate Is technical In growing a digital business, experienced in presenting a sleek, elegant, and engaging digital experience and enjoys the luxury fashion space.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities 

• Review and deploy updates and fixes
• Provide expert technical advice and assistance as and when required
• Analyze and rectify any issues and errors
• Address customer queries and grievances
• Inspect production errors via root cause analysis
• Develop and maintain detailed and accurate scripts
• Performing software integrations
• Stay up-to-date with the latest developments and technologies
• Coordinate with Project Managers to ensure timely completion of projects
• Set up new infrastructure, automation, and developmental tools
• Test and improve the release processes
• Evaluate and fix code bugs, if encountered

Experience & Competencies

• 4 years of continuous Magento 1 & 2 development experience
• Solid understanding of Magento fundamentals
• Good experience on Caching & Performance improvement
• Thorough functional and code level knowledge of all Magento products and all relevant commerce technologies
• Experience building major 3rd party systems integrations (ERPs, Payment Gateways, 3PL, etc.) Is preferred
• Solid understanding of business strategy
• Great analytical and problem-solving skills
• Attention to detail, and ability to multitask and meet deadlines
• Passion for quality and engineering excellence at scale
• Strong communication and conflict resolution skills
• Strong presentation and leadership skills
• Strong mentoring skills, ability to adapt and work with team members of various experience levels
• Knowledge and experience interacting with database systems through abstraction layer
• Strong hold on Linux and other operating systems
• Understanding of Magento shell based installation ecosystem
• Proficient Linux user, understanding concepts behind LAMP stack applications
• Ability to perform basic setup of ecommerce application and local environment
• Magento Commerce Cloud experience is preferred 
• Magento 2 Certification Is preferred
