Summary: We are looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer to join our small but growing team as we build internal software products that are core to Spearmint's business strategy. You will work with software engineers, data engineers, and data scientists to deliver high-impact greenfield products used for trading. This professional will be a member of the Research & Analytics team and report directly to the Head of Data Science. Specific Duties:
Manage AWS infrastructure
Own the end-to-end software delivery pipeline
CI/CD tooling and automation
Artifact storage and distribution
Dev, staging, and production releases
Contribute to product development strategy and processes.
Product architecture and design
Sprint planning and roadmapping
Documentation, code reviews, general software best practices
Contribute to design, implementation, and support for software systems across our tech stack.
Containerized web applications and services
ML systems
Simulation systems
Data platform
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Must-Haves:
BS degree in a technical field
5 years of relevant work experience
Strong experience setting up and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
Strong experience with AWS cloud technologies
Strong experience with Docker and Kubernetes
Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools
Experience with Python
Passion for clean energy
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Nice-to-Haves:
Experience with ML systems
Experience with trading systems
Familiarity with energy storage and energy markets
