The International Student Compliance Coordinator will be responsible for international student compliance duties related to international student immigration compliance. The position will be a Designated School DSO, and also the Responsible Officer - RO) for international students at Webster's US Campuses. The position will maintain immigration records (such as SEVIS records) of all international students including new students, current students and graduates and ensure that the University, international students, research scholars, and visiting professors comply with federal regulations.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelors Degree in any field
Preferred Qualifications
1-3 years of International Admissions Operations for a US-University and/or 1 -3 years of experience as DSO/RO.
Essential Duties
1. Provide assistance to all international students for all visa related issues and provide appropriate training for efficient immigration services.2. Maintain records for all visa holders and update same as required for all F and J visa holders.3. Monitor all international student services and provide information to all international students on federal immigration rules and resources and services available for use.4. Determine and update all SEVIS processing files and organize various immigration workshops.5. Coordinate with executive directors and prepare multiple reports for all federal and state agencies and monitor legal status of all students.6. Process CPT, OPT and STEM OPT applications7. Analyze all materials for incoming and outgoing students and provide assistance to all J-1 scholars.8. Act as Designated School Official (DSO) or Alternate Responsible Officer (ARO)
9. Provide support to international admissions processing as required.10. Issue I-20 for new students as and when required.
