Description
The Director of Operations for the Graduate & Online Enrollment team will be responsible for growing and managing a new team that will support engagement and success for graduate and online learners enrolled in courses across Webster's portfolio of graduate and online programs. The Director will develop a virtual one-stop focused on providing enrollment services related to financial aid, admissions, and registration. Additionally, the director will lead compliance efforts for the graduate and online enrollment team with a focus on state authorization as well as a range of ongoing activities related to program operations. The Director will report to the Associate Vice President for Graduate & Online Enrollment and will work closely with team members across the Graduate and Online Enrollment Management team as well as enrollment home offices to ensure compliance requirements are met and students receive quality service throughout the entire enrollment funnel.
Supervise the Graduate and Online Operations team including hiring, disciplinary, performance evaluation, professional development and training. This includes the development of rubrics and assessment to ensure quality student service.
Collaborate with the Enrollment Home Offices and other student service units across campus to build a support model for student service and student success in graduate and online programs.
Develop a strategic and ongoing operating plan for expanding the support and services necessary for Graduate and Online students.
Collaborate with key stakeholders to set policy in a proactive, timely manner and lead the implementation of policy.
In collaboration with the Associate Vice President for Graduate and Online Enrollment, develop a comprehensive communication plan for prospective and current graduate and online enrollment through multiple media channels.
Serve as liaison between Enrollment Management units, academic departments, student affairs, bursar and student success in all graduate and online operations and virtual one-stop related initiatives and facilitate communication and collaboration among these units.
If required, contract third party vendors and lead design, implementation, training, and maintenance on a continual basis.
Continually evaluate policies, performance data, programs, and services for graduate and online enrollment to ensure compliance, quality, efficiency, and effectiveness of operations.
Evaluate technical needs and enhancement used in student services administration and incorporate improvements and modifications when appropriate.
Ensure the security and confidentiality of all student record information and submitted documentation to comply with FERPA

Minimum Qualifications
Master's Degree with 7 years of experience with 5 years of progressively responsible management or Bachelor's degree with 9-10 years of experience with 6 years of progressively responsible experience in higher education, graduate online and/or student services.
Thorough understanding of student services regulations practices and technology; Understanding of academic culture; Strong proactive planning, assessment/analysis, research and organizational skills; Strong logical and analytical problem solving skills; critical thinking skills with attention to details; Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills and the ability to effectively communicate with a wide range of individuals and constituencies in a diverse community; Skills in collecting, verifying and reporting data; Strong organizational, time management and project planning skills.
