The Coordinator, Student Health Services will provide front office coverage for Student Health Services and Counseling Services, including scheduling of appointments and welcoming clients. Additionally, the Coordinator will oversee administration of the Student Health Insurance Program for Webster's domestic network. This will require enrollment management, verifying billing, updating materials, providing information and orientation to new international students form whom the policy is required.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelors degree and 2-3 years administrative support role experience in a healthcare setting.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelors degree in a healthcare management/administration field of study.
Essential Duties
Serve as front-facing staff role for clients visiting for health and/or counseling-related services.
Manage the student health insurance program for the Universitys domestic network (400-650 students annually.
Demonstrate knowledge of health insurance programs ans related processes.
Collaborate with key offices (e.g., Bursar, International Student Services, Housing & Residential Life, Study Abroad, Extended Site Directors) to enroll students into the program (including International students for whom enrollment is required for attendance).
Manage the insurance enrollment process across seven different enrollment periods, including verification of billing and invoice generation processes.
Filter incoming calls to Student Health Service and Counseling staff, efficiently respond to emails inquiries, and provide training to new students as needed regarding the insurance program or other necessary services.
Participates in program review, policy change discussions, and rate adjustments for upcoming policy years.
Maintain strong working relationships with insurance carrier and the Universitys insurance broker assisting this program.
Maintain high level of confidentiality throughout all interactions and business transactions.
