As the Head of First Line Information Technology Risk department within Webster Technology, the incumbent will take a lead role in the design, implementation, and management of information risk functions for Webster Technology. These functions include the IT Risk Framework and quantitative Risk Appetite Statement (RAS), Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) Processes, Technology Policies and Procedures management, Risk Assessments, risk item resolution, risk awareness, mitigation and training, and other technology risk processes. These processes serve to identify and mitigate all risks associated with Webster Technology to include Operational, Information Technology, Information Security, Strategic, Compliance, and Reputation. The incumbent will lead the firm-wide aggregation of material risks, issues, KRIs and take a lead role in reporting to applicable management and board level committees.

• A key leader in Information Technology executive management team responsible for all aspects of IT First Line Risk function.
• Establish and implement Webster First Line Information Technology Risk Management Strategy and collaborate with the CISO and other CIO pillars to elevate IT risk management practices.
• Overall Technology risk management liaison with Business assurance to align on risk assessment, reporting and mitigation / remediation.
• Oversee all Webster regulatory exams, IT SOX compliance, internal audit, internal control, and technology risk management engagements.
• Lead the design and implementation of integrated and automated Webster Technology risk reporting processes to enable firm-wide aggregation of material risks, issues, KRIs and other data as may be required. Take a lead role in the development of reports through appropriate management and board level committees.
• Responsible for the design, implementation, and execution of Webster First Line Risk Management framework.
• Lead the enhancement of Webster Technology risk identification, prioritization, mitigation processes and coach process owners on control design and implementation.
• Maintain overall Webster Technology process taxonomy. Participate in the integration with the selected CIO Group GRC platform.
• Collaborate with enterprise risk management and legal to document management responses to regulatory exam findings.
• Supervise and manage teams on engagements, including setting performance expectations, providing feedback, guidance, and motivation to staff, and managing budgets, engagement status and progress.
• 15 years of supervisory experience in Risk or Audit functions, preferably in technology and in a banking environment.
• 10 years of experience in leadership and IT management.
• Ability to plainly describe risk concepts to first line operational personnel.
• Ability to synthesize complex and potentially conflicting data into simple, actionable reporting.
• Familiarity with broad range of technologies, and an aptitude for learning emerging technologies and how regulatory requirements may evolve as a result. 
• Ability to resolve conflicting opinions without compromising high quality risk management.
• CISA, or other auditing or risk management certification, is strongly preferred.
• Big 4 IT audit consulting experience is a plus.

The estimated salary range for this position is $225,000.00 to $255,000.00. Actual salary may vary up or down depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position is eligible for incentive compensation.
