WebstaurantStore is Hiring a Project Manager Near Lebanon, TN

As a Project Manager, you will lead various projects and initiatives by supporting a new operation through project management of process, training, testing, data analysis, and report development. These initiatives will be achieved by collaborating with Operations, Data/Analytics, Continuous Improvement, Integrations, Software Development, Network Automation/Expansion, and Lifecycles Support teams to ensure the successful operational go-live and productivity ramp.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate within a team of highly skilled members that assist with managing projects in a new warehouse that is commencing new equipment, technology, and software initiatives
  • Create, present, and manage comprehensive documentation for implementations and project(s), to include but not limited to ROI analysis, workflow documentation, and reporting requirements
  • Create detailed documentation for future projects while providing regular updates to leadership and stakeholders
  • Become a subject matter expert in all aspects of fulfillment center operations and support performance improvement through standardizing processes, training operations personnel, conducting data and reporting analysis, and removing obstacles preventing operations from achieving KPIs
  • Proactively anticipate problems, mitigate risks, and develop solutions to uphold customer service levels and operational KPIs
  • Demonstrate technical proficiency, potentially involving testing hardware and software, documenting results and collaborating with internal and external partners to identify solutions
  • Apply operational knowledge by working directly with frontline distribution center employees, providing training on new equipment and processes
  • Partner with operations to critically assess workflows and develop new processes to help operations meet KPIs
  • Occasional overnight travel required, not exceeding 25%
  • Perform other duties as assigned


Experience/Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant work experience
  • Operations management experience in an e-commerce distribution center environment preferred
  • Ability to analyze, interpret, and apply data analytics is required
  • Education and/or experience in supply chain management is a plus
  • Demonstrated ability or experience managing and being directly responsible for employment decisions for exempt employees
  • Working knowledge in Microsoft Office 365 and Power BI is preferred
  • Experience with project management methodologies such as Agile, Six Sigma, and Scrum is preferred

  • Ability to manage numerous tasks and projects simultaneously
  • Desire to excel in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
  • Excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated capabilities to initiate and guide projects independently
  • Experience in navigating ambiguity while making informed decisions and establishing baseline assumptions
  • Exhibits a natural mechanical aptitude with a broad knowledge of software platforms, automation, conveyance, and various material handling equipment
